Children aged 6-12 years are invited to create and explore a series of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) Play Challenges.
Children will participate in a range of hands on STEM based challenges including:
Wednesday 14th January - Build a Solar Oven and Make Tasty Treats! Please note that children will make a smore (biscuit, chocolate and marshmallow) and a cheesy (rice cake with grated cheese) in this session.*
Thursday 15th January - Rocket Discovery - Children will make balloon rockets, stomp rockets and (kid safe) chemical rockets.*
Wednesday 21st January - Under the Sea Diorama - Children explore sea and ocean life and engineer and under the sea diorama.*
Thursday 29th January - Marble Run Challenge. Children will design, create and decorate their own marble run!
*Plus creating marshmallow catapults, paper helicopters and so much more with any extra time!
We put our problem solving skills to the test to work together to create!
Please bring with you:
A water bottle
A snack
Wear clothes you do not mind getting messy.
CAUTION: Small parts present. Not suitable for children under the age of 4 years.
