TERMS & CONDITIONS

By engaging in our services you agree to the following Terms and Conditions

  • Parent/Carer's must accept FULL RESPONSIBILITY for the safety and supervision of your child/children whilst attending the Made to be Messy event class or studio. Please DO NOT leave your child unattended at any time.

  • All materials are prepared in the knowledge that they will be played with under constant parent/carer supervision. Our studio is available to all ages and as such small items may be present. Please ensure you supervise your children closely.

  • All products used are non-toxic or taste safe however they are NOT intended to be eaten.

  • We DO NOT use any products containing; nuts, soy, dairy or eggs in our messy play activities. However some products used do have allergy labels warning the product "May Contain traces of" these allergens. Please note our Studio @ 9/99 Caridean St, Heathridge is a NUT FREE ZONE.

  • Please advise us of any allergies at the time of booking or Contact Us to ensure our session is safe for your child.

  • Please advise staff immediately if any bodily spillages occur whilst in a session so timely sanitation and replacement of the activity can take place.

  • Some stations may contain 'wet' materials which could cause the floor around them to become slippery. Please be sure to WALK carefully between stations.

  • The nature of our business is MESSY play- We encourage you to dress your child and yourself in clothes that you do not mind getting messy, stained or dirty. Made to be Messy accepts no responsibility for clothes or belongings that are stained, marked, damaged or left behind.

  • To ensure the activity area does not become overcrowded and capacity limits are adhered to - each ticket is valid for entry to your Made to be Messy event for ONE child and ONE parent/carer. An additional ticket must be purchased on the day at the door for any additional adults wishing to attend.($5)

  • Made to be Messy takes no responsibility should you fail to attend an event you have booked for any reason (including illness). No refunds or credits will apply in this instance.

  • Please check-in with a staff member upon arrival at your session. Please show your ticket confirmation upon entry to your session. Screenshots will not be accepted.

  • We ask that you please refrain from attending your event should your child or yourself have a contagious illness. We reserve the right to ask you to leave a session should you display symptoms that may be contagious to others.

  • Payment is required in full at the time of booking for a Made to be Messy event or class. The booking price is inclusive of any fees, charges and GST.

  • Due to hire charges, preparation and material costs, your ticket is non-refundable or non-changeable for any missed classes or events. You MAY transfer your ticket to someone else. Please email info@madetobemessy.com.au with any name changes should you pass on your ticket. Term Enrolments have the option to complete a make up session during the week subject to availability.

  • Made to be Messy reserves the right to cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances. All participants will be contacted as soon as possible and a credit/gift voucher will be provided for use within the next 6 months or a refund will be offered.

  • Alcohol and smoking are strictly prohibited within the premises and in the
    surrounding parking areas.

  • Made to Be Messy are not responsible for any personal belongings left on-site.

  • We expect all guests to maintain respectful and courteous behaviour during their
    visit to Made to be Messy. Any form of misconduct, including damage to property
    or causing discomfort to other guests or staff, may lead to eviction from our
    premises without a refund.

  • Your Made to be Messy facilitator may take photos and videos during the session. These may be used on our website, social media pages and for advertising or promotional purposes. 

  • If you do not wish to have photos taken of yourself or your child please state this on your booking form and let your event leader know when you check-in. We will however always ask verbally for permission before taking a photo during the session.

PRIVATE BOOKINGS & EXCLUSIVE HIRE

Payment & Cancellations

  • A booking deposit of $100 is required within 4 days of the deposit invoice being raised to secure your booking. This deposit is non-refundable and forms part of your final payment for your birthday party. The remaining balance is to be paid via bank transfer a minimum of 14 days before the 

date of the event.

  • Booking price includes any fees and charges.

  • Private hire bookings cannot be rescheduled to a different date with less than 6 weeks notice from the
    date of the initial event.

  • In the event of your cancellation of the exclusive hire booking (for any reason whatsoever), deposits will
    not be refunded.

  • Due to planning, preparation and material costs, final payment is non-refundable and
    non-changeable for any cancellations within the 14 days leading up to the booking.

  • Made to be Messy reserves the right to cancel a private booking due to unforeseen

circumstances. In the unlikely event this happens; the booking contact will be 

contacted as soon as possible and a refund will be offered or a credit/gift voucher 

provided for use within the next 6 months.

  • If no deposit is received to secure the booking within the due date specified on the deposit invoice (e.g. you have made an enquiry only and not yet paid), Made To Be Messy reserves the right to cancel your provisional booking and re-allocate the booking slot.

In Studio Considerations:

By booking a party at Made To Be Messy you agree to the following terms and
conditions.

  • Your party booking is for a two hour time slot.

  • You may have access to the space 30 minutes before and after for set up and pack up, please ensure all items are removed from the space in this time.

  • You may bring food, drinks and cake. However our studio is a NUT FREE ZONE and alcohol is not permitted.

  • Alcohol and smoking are strictly prohibited within the premises and in the surrounding
    parking areas.

  • Made to Be Messy are not responsible for any personal belongings left on-site.

  • The maximum number of people is to adhere to health and safety requirements of the
    birthday venue and cannot be compromised under any circumstances.

  • We expect all guests to maintain respectful and courteous behaviour during their visit
    to Made to be Messy. Any form of misconduct, including damage to property or causing
    discomfort to other guests or staff, may lead to eviction from our premises without a
    refund.

  • Payment of deposit to book a party confirms acceptance of these terms and
    conditions.

  • If you haven’t received your confirmation of booking, please check your junk inbox.

  • If you have any questions or concerns about these Terms and Conditions or about
    your booking, please feel free to contact us. 

 

Off Site Party Considerations:

  • Please be aware if hiring a venue for your private party we will need access for a 

minimum 3 hours. Approximately 1 hour to set up (dependant of package), 1 hour of 

messy play and approximately 1 hour to clean up. 

  • Please be advised we do not accept bookings on carpeted areas.

  • Clean up includes designated area of messy play set up only.

  • Please be aware that if your venue is outdoors we do require shade to set up under 

as the black trays used for the activities can get extremely hot in direct sun.

 

Travel Fee:

  • Additional travel fee will apply for venues further than 20kms from our base in 

Heathridge 6027.

 

Photo Consent:

  • Photos and short videos may be taken during our sessions. These may be used on 

our website, social media pages and for advertising or promotional purposes.

  • If you do not wish to have photos taken of yourself or your child please state this on 

your booking form. We will however always ask for permission before taking a photo 

during the session.

  • Photos are NOT taken during any Early Learning Centre or School Incursions.
